The ZGClub was founded on the 18th April 2008 and now proudly (symbolised in our name) represents ‘Z’ for Zimbabwe in the Diaspora and ‘G’ for Growth both intellectually and in business enterprise.
ZG Club is a dynamic, apolitical membership club that facilitates the development of commercial initiatives, idea generation and rigorous intellectual debate on business and business related political issues pertaining to Zimbabwe.
The Club is also active in philanthropy and consciously supports small Zimbabwe-centric charities, helping to raise their profiles.
Since its inauguration the ZGClub has taken the on the lead role in being the independent voice of Zimbabwean Trade & Commerce Re-engagement within the Diaspora, facilitating environments where upstanding and successful Zimbabwean's and industry engage in intellectual and apolitical exchange of ideas whilst promoting wealth generation amongst all its members and affiliates.
From this successful networking platform we have ventured into various projects and Connect2Network engagements details of which can be found in the Projects & Events section of the website.
The ZGClub recognise that our 'network is our net-worth' and are always looking to add appropriate competences to our select group. As part of our route to membership we encourage you to attend our open meetings or events so you can meet our members and discuss any potential interest or synergies.
To promote an exchange of ideas on current issues and wealth generation.
To promote networking and enlightenment of members.
To promote entrepreneurial outlook and encourage initiatives amongst Members.
To be influential on Zimbabwean matters.
To support/endorse an existing Charities and
Project, which develop young Zimbabwean talent.
To facilitate a platform for which renowned speakers with an insight into Zimbabwe and international matters that impact on Zimbabwe; can engage and impart knowledge to our members and invited guests.
To support and engage in philanthropic activities, related to the promotion of education in Zimbabwe.
The ZGClub is not a charity, but its members recognise the value of giving back to our communities in need and therefore we apportion some of our turnover from the various fund raising, investment and capital projects to our selected cause.
